Island change
Torsten Schlüter, Hill, 2017, watercolor, 50 x 65 cm
After a productive stay at work, we travel from Hiddensee to Manhattan. Here the horses, there the cabs. Here the transverse horizons, there the vertical urban canyons. And both islands are 18 km long. Electoral affinities? Torsten Schlüter worked in Manhattan in the 90s, and now he is picking up the trail again. An appointment at the German Consulate General in New York is planned and an exhibition project is being considered. Firmly targeted, among other things: The seagulls. Here, too, the relationships become exciting. Hiddensee – Manhattan.
